  107.                   The Annuity Ace Lite - Program Overview
  108.  
  109. The Annuity Ace is a financial software program designed with ease and
  110. flexibility in mind. It comes complete with a variety of financial tools
  111. for calculating Deferred, Immediate and Split Annuities.  It also
  112. contains Calculators for solving for missing values. Each financial tool
  113. contains a variety of options to allow maximum flexibility.

  115. The Deferred Annuity tool allows variable deposit modes, deposits,
  116. withdrawals, interest rates and compounding methods with or without
  117. loads. Professional reports can be generated with varying detail.
  118. Special options are available to illustrate the time value of
  119. compounding, the impact of taxes on savings, the effect of loads, the
  120. effect of inflation, the effect of obtaining higher interest rate, and
  121. the ability to illustrate what is required to accumulate a target sum of
  122. money by a target age.

  124. The Immediate Annuity tool allows variable payout modes and compounding
  125. methods.  Professional schedules are produced.  A Split Annuity option
  126. is available that produces both a professional schedule and chart.

  128. Illustrations can be viewed on the screen or sent to a printer or a
  129. file. The Annuity Ace is a menu driven program that also contains an
  130. on-line manual and individual help for each input to allow the user to
  131. easily navigate and understand the program.  Information can be saved
  132. and retrieved.  The Annuity Ace provides several miscellaneous
  133. configuration options for setting the program up to your individual
  134. liking.

  147.   pages or just on the last page of an illustration.
  148. * Contains the ability to turn bolding on or off for illustration
  149.   totals, headers and footers.
  150. * Contains an enhanced filing system where information can be saved for

  169. includes all features of the Lite version of the program, and is not
  170. crippled in any way. You may use it for up to 30 days, without charge.

  172. evaluation period, you are required to pay for the program (see
  173. ORDER.TXT for more details). Any fee you may have paid to others (disk
  174. vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this evaluation version was a fee for
  175. their copying and distribution services, rather than a payment for
  176. continued use of the program.

  180. The Annuity Ace can be registered with Insight Software Solutions with a
  181. check, money order, VISA or MasterCard in the amount of $15.00 U.S. for
  182. the "Lite" version or $25.00 U.S. for the "Professional" version plus

  184. listed above. Upon receipt, you will be sent the latest version of The
  185. Annuity Ace. (The professional version includes a printed manual.) Once
  186. registered, you will receive notification of major updates and new
  187. products. Registration includes a 90 day support policy where free
  188. updates will be provided for major problems. If a problem cannot be
  189. resolved, then a refund of money will be made.

  224. The Annuity Ace may be run from either a floppy or hard disk. An
  225. installation program called INSTALL.EXE is provided to assist you in the
  226. installation of the program on a hard drive.  To install the program,
  227. insert the floppy disk in drive A (or drive B). From the A> prompt (or
  228. B>), simpy type "Install".  This will prompt you through the
  229. installation process.  Alternatively, you may simply copy the contents
  230. of the floppy disk onto the hard disk.  We recommend that it be placed
  231. into its own subdirectory.
